All about me
Hello there!. My name is Loreto and I live in Villa Alemana, I was born in 1989 in Arica, had to move from cities to cities, so I studied in Viña, Santiago, Quilpué and Valparaíso, the last one was for the university, not many choices of traditional universities in that area. Had to take a break for medical issues before continue studying my actual career in Santiago at University of Chile.
My family consist basically of my dad, my stepmom, my mother, my stepdad, my youger brother (28) who is working at Indra and my little half brother, who's studying yet (15). With my grandpa and grandma I used to visit all hot spot of good meals from Santiago to Vicuña, and to the north, from La Serena and they used to prepair meals tipically from Arica (my family is from there). I have many hobbies, but one of them is degusting food, everyone should enjoy a good meal, right?. My dream is to travel around the world degusting all kind of food, that's why my favorite show is Bizarre Foods and Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations.
The main reason that I'm doing a blog about chilean food, is because mostly of the time is underrated, if you compare chileand food and peruvian food, or chilean food and brazilian food for example, people will choose the exotic food, but I'm here to change that percepction, that food doesn't need to have exotic flavours enough to be delicious, and that chileans have delightful meals for all tastes and an unique culture, that have a variety of meals from north to south, that all can enjoy.
